Due to our continued growth, we are looking for experienced GIS Consultants to join our Professional Services Team. Our business is built on the belief that knowing where things happen matters. S
ome of your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Interact with a wide variety of organisations across a range of industries including transportation, public safety, government, utilities, insurance, the natural environment, and retail to deliver solutions based on GIS.
  • Consult with our clients and act as a trusted technical advisor, helping to demonstrate best practice with Esri technology and growing a customer’s understanding of the ArcGIS Platform.
  • Consulting/ cooperating with clients (either individually or as part of a team) to understand requirements and then implementing GIS-based solutions to meet those requirements.
  • Provide technical input and guidance for business development and sales opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop an understanding of the ArcGIS Platform and how it can be used by our customers to solve real-world problems.
  • Research the latest technologies and IT trends and relating this to Esri Ireland’s business.
  • Create desktop, web and mobile applications that use Esri technology.
  • Working with the latest Esri technology, you will be part of a highly skilled and diverse team that delivers solutions to real-world scenarios.

  • Are passionate and knowledgeable about GIS.
  • Enjoy applying Geographical Information Systems to provide business/real-world solutions.
  • Have experience in some or all of the following; ArcGIS Pro / Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Mobile Apps and/or ArcGIS Online and web technologies.
  • Have some experience of scripting or developer environments such as JavaScript, REST and Python, or web design experience such as HTML, CSS however, this is not essential.
  • Can prioritise workload and deliver to deadlines.
  • Have good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Are naturally curious and inquisitive, good at creating and nurturing relationships, and enthusiastic about problem solving.

Location:
Flexible! We have offices in Republic of Ireland (Dublin) and Northern Ireland (Holywood) however, we are open to flexible working arrangements from anywhere on the island of Ireland. Work from home or enjoy our modern offices or even take a hybrid approach and split your time between home and the office. The choice is yours.
