Support Worker - Nights

£10.42 per hour + £500 welcome bonus*
37.5 hours per week (part time considered)

We are looking for a flexible and caring Night Support Worker, to join our established team at Kilvie House; a pleasant eight-bedroom home in Kingswood, offering 24-hour support for people with learning disabilities.

 

As a Night Support Worker you will provide personal care, as required, and promote the privacy, dignity and rights, health and wellbeing of the people we support, while respecting individuals’ right to confidentiality.

As part of your induction, you will initially work 2 weeks on day shifts to build positive relationships with the people we support and get to know the service. All training is carried out during the day and must be met in order to complete probation.

 

In addition, training (including probation meetings, supervisions, team meetings) should be expected to be carried out during the day to enable you to keep in touch with understanding the service as a whole, and to reinforce positive cultures.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need to be supportive, a good listener and able to demonstrate good communication skills.
