Support Worker - Mornings

£10.42 per hour + £500 Welcome Bonus*

6.5 hours per week

We are seeking someone patient and kind to help us support a gentleman in his 70's to continue living independently in his own home and ensure he continues to have a fulfilled and happy life.

 

This could include supporting him in the community, with shopping, collecting and administering medication, managing his finances and supporting him to maintain relationships with friends.

 

The shift pattern is Mondays 9am-12pm, Fridays 10am-12.30pm and alternate Saturday and Sundays 10am-11am and it is essential that you be a driver and able to use your own car.  

 

The successful Support Worker will be kind and caring, attentive, outgoing and have a good sense of humour but above all, patient. It takes a while for the gentleman to trust and become confident with new people.
