Tramways is a residential care home in the Brislington area of Bristol, providing a recovery service for fourteen people with complex mental health needs. The people we support are encouraged to maintain their skills and independence and are involved in decision-making in the home as much as possible.
At Tramways, we not only strive to help the people we support to the best of our abilities, we also believe that every staff member has untapped areas of brilliance. We will work with you to identify your strengths as you gain experience and build your career in health and social care.
We are keen to recruit a motivated, innovative and passionate person to help make a significant difference to the lives of the people we support by working with them to gain or recapture skills and experiences in order for them to be able to live the fulfilled life they choose.
Staff at Tramways offer one-to-one support to each person and each resident has their own person-centred care plan.
The successful support worker will have a willingness to learn and develop new skills to enhance the lives of the people we support and provide you with job satisfaction. You will enjoy working with people, be a team player and have strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, service users and a range of stakeholders.
A willingness to work flexibly is essential, as shifts will include nights and weekends, to accommodate the needs of the service.
For an informal discussion about the job role please contact Adam Baker or Matthew Hall on 0117 300 9637.
