Support Workers needed daily for three to six hours, depending on the activity planned.

We understand that people want casual work for a variety of reasons, whether that’s to supplement a part-time job, whilst studying elsewhere, or as part of juggling child-care; whatever the reason, this could be the opportunity for you.

Could you support a gentleman to Church choir on Sundays to explore his spirituality and love for music or to various artist groups to indulge his passion to create?

Could you accompany this gentleman to museums and galleries to contemplate image and design or attend poetry sessions to experience ideas and emotions in a more meaningful way?

A gentleman in Bath, (coombe down) would like support to enable him to pursue his passion for art, music and culture within his community.

Last summer he returned from Ireland to Extra Care Sheltered Housing and needs assistance to integrate within his community and engage with activities that he loves. These include;

  • Connecting with his community
  • Facilitating his regular and ad-hoc activities
  • Networking, with the intention of making new friends and acquaintances
  • Enabling his social diary; visiting friends and family is really important to him

He is seeking insightful, adaptable people who are “grounded, caring, thoughtful”; able to work in a truly person-centred way and to “walk in rhythm” him.

You need to be an excellent listener and confident communicator, able to liaise with the other people involved in his life, and a dedicated team player who is committed to assisting him to “Do my best”.

For an informal chat about the role please call: Abi Yateman on 07834626838 or email or Saph Ozolins on 07876397641 or email
