Position Summary

The key purpose of the Sr. HRIS Analyst is to support, maintain and improve continuously Dayforce our global HRIS system (for the US, South America and Europe). This includes but is not limited to the following Modules: Ceridian Dayforce Human Capital Management System, Native and Connected Payroll, Benefits, Performance & Compensation Management, WFM (Time and attendance), Learning, Recruiting, Onboarding.


This position will be globally responsible for all aspects of system configuration, integration, implementation, maintenance, as well as complex trouble shooting, access security administration, report writing, mass load of data, end user training, data integrity and API and Interface maintenance.


The Sr. HRIS Analyst will also assist with the creation of HR metrics and dashboards to be utilized across the organization and will partner with other HR Function to analyze data flows for process/system  improvement opportunities.

Other responsibilities include:


  • Partners with HR Leadership on evaluating and implementing new technologies and resources for the organization. Serves as a lead on all HR technology related projects.
  • Tests, assesses and implements System updates and upgrades and provide training and technical support to admins and end users. Involves HR Leadership and local SME’s where needed.
  • Monitor HR systems integrations to ensure accuracy. Has a strong working relationship with all HR 3rd party vendors tied to the HCM System and partners directly with them to solve any
  • data integrity or System issues.
  • Continuously improve the capabilities of the HR information system (Dayforce), collaborating with IT and software vendors as needed.
  • Collaborates with the HR team to identify system improvements, enhancements; analyzes and recommends process enhancements and task automation.
  • Writes, maintains and supports a variety of complex reports or queries. Creates new reports and dashboards as needed to support business needs.
  • Implements, improves and conducts data auditing reports and procedures to ensure the accuracy and compliance of all HR data, System accesses, to meet SOX and auditing standards and acts as point of contact for internal and external auditing inquiries.
  • Maintain records of changes to system information to ensure documentation is available for audit purposes.
  • Develop/maintain security groups and membership in accordance with approved program structure/roles.
  • Demonstrates good judgement and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive data, ensures GDPR compliance at all times.
  • Support on Mass Data loads.
  • Create positions, sets up org structures in the systems.
  • Write and maintain user procedure guidelines and documentation for the HRIS systems and integrations, conduct end user trainings
  • Support with onboarding of new companies during mergers and acquisitions
  • Participation in regular Dayforce trainings that may include certifications on the Dayforce Product

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources Management, IT or a related field required
  • 5+ years of experience working with cloud-based HCM systems for an international company
  • Expertise required in MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel/V-Look-up and Pivot Tables.
  • Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits and in facilitating user trainings on HR systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Core HCM modules, including Time and Attendance, Payroll
  • Proven Project management or Project Leading experience on HR system implementations, improvements and ongoing support
  • Strong desire for data quality, a clear understanding of business processes and requests completed accurately and timely.
  • Ability to appropriately handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and global time zones.
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects.
  • Analyze and make recommendations regarding system and process enhancements and task automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail
  • Team player; strong interpersonal and technical support skills


  • Experience working with Ceridian Dayforce is preferred or other modern HR software (SAP Successfactors, Workday, Ultimate Software, other) is a plus
  • HRIP certification or related certification desired
  • Systems integration experience (API Integration)
  • Programming experience is desired
  • Comprehensive understanding of HCM modules for Recruiting, Compensation, Performance and Benefits, Learning, Onboarding Administration with the ability to create sophisticated reports
  • Experience with European GDPR requirements desired
