Position Summary
Perform various operations procedures and tasks as required for chemical processes.

Essential Functions
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform raw material additions to multiple reactors
  • Perform required inspections and chemical tests of product, process and equipment per procedure
  • Responsible for operation of two flaker belt processes

Job Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-2 years in a chemical manufacturing facility

Education

  • High School diploma or GED

Special Needs/Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Must be HazMat certified or able to become certified within a certain timeframe
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends and swing shifts
  • Ability to work on your feet, walking and standing, for extended periods of time
  • Must be medically qualified to wear a respirator
  • Ability and willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Ability to perform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately
  • Aptitude to understand technical concepts
  • Possess good hand-eye coordination
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good verbal and written communications
  • Good computer skills and aptitude to improve
