FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT


Purpose

The Accountant will analyze and prepare the company's financial transactions in order to compile accurate and timely monthly financial statements.


Responsibilities:

Posts all transactions into ERP system (AR, AP, complex intercompany transactions in different currencies, taxation) and reconciles bank daily

Reconciles and performs applicable CIT, VAT and Sales tax, WHT of personnel and vendors to pay to the local authorities with support from Finance Manager

Supports many aspects of the Month End Process, i.e. ensures all transactions are entered and reconciled for prepaids, banks, AP, AR etc

Reconciles monthly balance sheet accounts, including ledger to subledger to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

Educational

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant area is required
 

Work experience:

A minimum of 3 years' prior experience as an Accountant is required

SAP experience is preferred
