Senior Financial Manager - Focus Consolidation / Accounting 


Effectively manages the preparation of group reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements with notes according to IFRS.


  • Manages and oversees the month end process ensuring all deadlines are met ·
  • Carries out reviews during month end and liaises with the financial accountant team on any issues as they arise ·
  • Calculates and manages the corporate overhead and charges it to the various reporting groups ·
  • Verifies that all intercompany recharges have been processed at the end of each period ·
  • Ensures proper allocation of payroll expenses has been made to all reporting groups and related parties. ·
  • Records any adjusting entries and consolidation adjustments at month end and year end in accordance with business combination accounting standards ·
  • Verifies that the contents of all asset, liability, and equity accounts for both the reporting groups and corporate parent are correct and work with accountants within the team to ensure all corrections are made timely and accurately within the close cycle ·
  • Prepares and reviews the consolidated monthly management accounts and investigates any items that appear to be unusual or incorrect and work with accountants within the team to ensure all corrections are made timely and accurately within the close cycle ·
  • Ensures the recording of an income tax liability at both the reporting group level and corporate level ·
  • Accesses the financial records of each reporting group and flag them as closed to prevent any additional transactions from being recorded in the account period being closed · Communicates with group on any variance analysis and queries they may have on the reporting ·
  • Converts monthly, quarterly, and annually accounting packs into the operating currency of the parent compan

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related education is required
  • A license as a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CPA, or equivalent) is required
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in an accounting role is required ·
  • Experience of consolidation and financial reporting experience in a complex environment, preferably with a multi-jurisdictional organization is preferred ·
  • Proven experience with financial reporting requirements, general ledger functions and the month end/year end close processes and audits ·
  • Demonstrated experience using knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) ·
  • Must be proficient in spoken and written English
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
